Currently located in the city of Mauá, São Paulo, Brazil, Met. Andromeda Ltd, has been offering for 19 years, small and medium stamped parts to national and international automotive industries. Metalúrgica Andromeda was certified by BVQI – Bureau Veritas Quality International, according to the normative rules ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001:2000.

History

Andromeda was founded in 1989 to supply the motorcycles aftermarket. Since then it has been recognized as a company with big potential. Andromeda then started to be a supplier for Maxion Engines and ZF do Brasil.

In 1992, due to its continuous development, the plant moved to a new 1000m warehouse located in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo. By that time Andromeda started supplying Delphi Automotive Systems and Yamaha Motors do Brasil.

In 1997, it received the ISO 9002 certification and two years later, the QS 9000. In the same year it moved to a new building in the city of Diadema and started supplying two new customers – Caterpillar do Brasil and Grammer do Brasil. In 2004, it received the ISO/TS 16949 certification.

In 2007 Andromeda opened its own 2.660m² head office building in the city of Mauá, and started supplying Alcoa Aluminim.
